GVMH Welcomes New Pediatrician

AftenAnderson (2)

On August 1, Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare will welcome Dr. Aften Anderson, pediatrician, to the GVMH medical team.  Dr. Anderson attended medical school at St. Matthew’s University School of Medicine in the Cayman Islands and completed her Pediatric Residency at The Children’s Hospital at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City.

Dr. Anderson grew up in Ellington, Mo., and is pleased to return to Missouri to begin her practice. She enjoys all aspects of general pediatrics and is especially interested in developmental and behavioral medicine. She promotes healthy eating to her patients and advocates early childhood literacy.

“I love what I do and I am excited to have the chance to practice in a state that is so committed to the care of its children,” Dr. Anderson said. “There are tremendous opportunities for pediatric care in the Golden Valley, and I am proud to call Clinton my new home.”
