Sustained Superior Patient Satisfaction – boy that’s a mouthful to say which is why it’s a fitting award for the Food and Nutrition Services (FANS) Department at GVMH.
Last week Cynthia Brouk, Director Food and Nutrition Services, and Anthony Velazquez, Executive Chef, traveled to San Diego to accept the national award at the 2014 Good to Best Conference.
GVMH’s FANS Department has consistently achieved patient satisfaction above the 90th percentile nationally for the past couple of years. The high level of satisfaction is related to our hotel style room service, excellent food quality, friendly staff and ongoing and relentless commitment to excellence.
I’m extremely proud of our FANS Department, they set a high bar for the rest of us to try to achieve. Congratulations to each and every FANS Department Member for their accomplishment.
