GVMH has made a significant commitment to help its management team members become better leaders. On a quarterly basis management team members go off-site to learn evidenced based, proven tactics to help them become better leaders. Many of the items shared with the management team come from our partnership with the Studer Group.
The off-site meetings are called Leadership Development Institute or LDI and the organization is benefiting from several initiatives introduced in the LDI’s and those initiatives include; Thank You Notes, Rounding for Outcomes, Monthly Meeting Model, Leader Evaluation Manager, Patient Call Manager and Critical Communications. The day and a half meetings are grueling and to prove that they are effective I’ve decided to share the below picture of Gordon Glass at the meeting held December 5 – 6.
