Outpatient Treatment Center – new and improved – patient centered amenities

We are in the final stages of renovation in the Outpatient Treatment Center and on December 12 we hosted an open house and performed a ribbon cutting with the Greater Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce.

The Outpatient Treatment Center is the area that provides our outpatient infusion services including chemotherapy.  We also host several specialty clinics in the space, including Cardiology, Oncology, Pulmonology and Urology.  The new and improved space provides more treatment area and exam rooms, an expanded and centralized waiting area, more amenities to increase patient comfort and on-site admitting.  Patients receiving service in the Outpatient Treatment Center no longer have to stop in registration which is a huge satisfier.

The new space looks great.  The infusion room includes heated and massaging recliners, a fireplace and a big screen 3D TV.  Below are a few picture from the event.  You can see that the new recliners are a big hit!

The new recliners are so easy to operate that even my 3-year-old son figured it out!
