When I started the blog I had several “You’ve got questions, I’ve got answers” blogs in which I’d provide you the opportunity to use the “Leave a Comment or Comments” tab at the end of the blog to leave a question for me to answer in a subsequent blog.
The questions were hit and miss so I’ve not had a “You’ve got questions, I’ve got answers” blog for several weeks. It’s time to resurrect the questions blog. Please take a moment to pose a question – anything (within reason) is fair game.
In November this blog had 3,562 views and for the four months the blog has been in existence it has had 14,367 views. I know you’re reading the blog – so take a minute to leave a question!
The blog has been all over the place in terms of topics but if you’re a regular reader you’ve noticed a pattern. I try to do at least one blog post each week related to my professional life, my opinion of the state of health care or on a current topic in health care.
I try to do one personal story which usually involves a story about my now 22 month old son.
I also try to have one guest blogger each week. The guest bloggers have all done a great job and the stories have been informative and moving. The guest bloggers, like all of us, have a story to share and they’ve done so in a manner that I couldn’t do justice to if I were to tell their story.
I would like your help identifying future guest bloggers. Is there a story you want to hear first hand, do you know someone who has a great story to tell, is there something or someone you’ve always wanted to hear about – let me know. I will be happy to do the leg work to contact the potential guest blogger and ask that they consider doing a blog. Feel free to use the comments tab at the end of the blog to make a suggestion or email me personally email@example.com if you do not want your suggestion to be public. Anyone is fair game, I have no problem contacting the Whitehouse and asking the President to take a few minutes of his busy day to do a guest blog for me – I won’t guarantee results from any of the suggestions but I promise I’ll ask. Let me know who you want to hear from.
In the end the blog has been a lot like the Seinfeld Sit-Com – a story about nothing.
The blog I posted on Tuesday was picked up and featured on The Missouri Health Careers site http://missourihealthcareers.com/ by MHA. I had no idea the blog was being monitored outside of our local community so you can imagine my surprise when I received word that a link to the blog was posted on the website. It’s pretty cool and you can use the link above to check it out. It’s a very informative website and I’d recommend taking a few minutes to check it out.
Bring on the questions.
